AZLO's site lists four handheld machines — a 1,500 W and a 2,000 W liquid-cooled mini welder, a 3,000 W handheld welder and the air-cooled Nomad 1800 at 1,800 W — plus 1,500 W and 2,000 W collaborative welding robots, and it publishes its prices on those product pages (azlolaser.ca, retrieved 2026-09-24). Its published inclusions are "Get 2 days free training", a wire feeder, a welding helmet and welding goggles.

When AZLO is the better fit
- You want the price before the phone call. AZLO publishes its prices on its product pages. You can read them, compare them against a Vantix quote for your configuration, and decide with the numbers in front of you. Vantix publishes a starting point and quotes the rest.
- You want training bundled and named. AZLO publishes "Get 2 days free training" with the machine, plus a separate menu of four paid advanced courses covering engineering for laser, system maintenance, advanced handheld technique and startup and operator essentials. Vantix's printed spec sheet for the welding line publishes no training term at all.
- You are in southern Ontario. Their address is Uxbridge, Ontario, and their published free-shipping threshold applies to Southern Ontario only. Vantix's 48-hour on-site commitment is written for Western Canada.
- Uptime cover matters more to you than warranty length. AZLO publishes a loaner policy: they try to keep one of each model on the floor, and say they will deliver their demo machine and take yours away until it is fixed and returned. Vantix publishes no loaner policy.
- You want the laser source named. AZLO names its laser source as its own AZLO house brand. Vantix does not publish a laser-source brand for the handheld line.
When Vantix is the better fit
- You need thickness stated with the material. Vantix publishes 6 mm at 1.5 kW, 8 mm at 2 kW and 10 mm at 3 kW, and names the materials: stainless, carbon steel and galvanized, with aluminum and copper/brass at 3 kW. If you weld aluminum, that distinction decides the power rung.
- You want one warranty term to read. 2-year warranty, uniformly, across all five Vantix product lines. AZLO's term is two-tier and worth reading closely either way.
- You want an hour-based service commitment. 48-hour on-site service SLA for Western Canada, plus a 24/7 Canadian hotline.
- You want parts on this side of the ocean. Parts stocked in Lumby, BC, not overseas.
- You run more than welding. Vantix also publishes fiber sheet cutting, tube and profile cutting, laser cleaning and structural profile cutting, so one supplier and one warranty term can cover the shop.
- You want to see it run first. There is a showroom in Lumby, BC — you can see the machines in person before you buy.
