Terms of Service

• Eligibility — you must be at least 18 and have authority to act for the business you represent; using the Site on behalf of a company means you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
• Informational only — specs, lead times, pricing ranges, certifications, and configurations may change without notice; final commercial terms come from your written quote or purchase agreement.
• Demos, quotes & inquiries are not contracts — a binding agreement requires a signed (or expressly accepted) quote, purchase order, or contract identifying equipment, price, payment, delivery, and warranty.
• Acceptable use — no scraping or automated extraction beyond what our robots.txt and llms.txt allow, no probing of security, no malware, no misuse of forms, no impersonation, no use to violate any law, sanction, or third-party right.
• Communications consent — by providing your email or phone, you consent to receive responses about your inquiry by email, phone, SMS, and chat. Marketing communications follow CASL and always include an unsubscribe option.
• Quotes & availability — quotes are valid only for the period stated and are subject to credit approval, equipment availability, and applicable export-control and sanctions laws.

When you provide your email or phone number through the Site (including via the chat widget, a contact, quote, demo, or financing form), you consent to receive communications from Vantix related to your inquiry — by email, phone, SMS, and chat. Under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) we will obtain your express consent before sending commercial electronic messages and will always include an unsubscribe or opt-out method in marketing communications.

SMS program. Vantix sends transactional and account-related SMS (such as appointment confirmations and quote follow-ups) and, only with separate opt-in, occasional marketing SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help or STOP at any time to opt out. Opting out of SMS does not opt you out of email or phone.

No third-party sharing of mobile data. Mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS consent) is never shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or lead-generation purposes. See our Privacy Policy for the full mobile-data and SMS clause.

Carrier liability. Mobile carriers (including but not limited to T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Bell, Rogers, Telus, and their affiliates) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS service is provided on an as-available basis and we make no guarantees regarding message delivery, timing, or availability.

Age restriction. SMS service is available to participants 18 years of age or older. By opting in to receive text messages, you confirm you are at least 18 and the authorized account holder or user of the mobile phone number you provide.

• Ownership — the Site and its contents (text, photography, video, illustrations, logos, trademarks, product names, layouts, designs, source code, and downloadable materials) are owned by Vantix or our licensors and are protected by Canadian and international IP laws.
• Limited licence — we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and download Site content for your internal business evaluation of Vantix products and services.
• Trademarks — you may not use Vantix names, logos, or trademarks in your own marketing without our prior written permission.
• AI / ML use — you may not use the Site or its content to train any machine-learning or generative-AI model without our prior written consent.
• Your submissions — information you submit (specs, drawings, photos, samples, ideas, feedback) is provided non-confidentially unless we agree otherwise in writing; you grant Vantix a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use it to respond to you and to provide and improve our products and services.
• Recordings — service-related calls and meetings may be recorded for quality, training, and recordkeeping; we will tell you before any recording starts and you may decline.

• Site provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, and information on the Site is not a substitute for an engineering review or formal written quotation.
• Equipment warranties are separate. Warranties for equipment, parts, installation, training, and service are governed by your purchase agreement and the documentation that accompanies the product. Nothing on the Site modifies, extends, or replaces those warranties.
• Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantix and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site (and these Terms, but excluding any separate written purchase, service, or financing agreement) will not exceed CAD $1,000.

• Third-party content & links — the Site may contain links to or content from third parties (manufacturers, financing providers, training partners, certification bodies, video hosts, mapping providers, review sites). We do not control or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for it; your use of those sites is governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
• Indemnification — you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vantix and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, information you submit through the Site, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
• Export controls & sanctions — you agree not to use the Site, or information obtained through it, in violation of Canadian, U.S., or other applicable export-control or sanctions laws, and you confirm you are not located in or acting on behalf of any embargoed country or restricted-party list.
• Application advice — information on the Site is general; for engineering, safety, or material advice specific to your application, contact our team for written confirmation.

• Governing law — these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
• Jurisdiction — you and Vantix submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia for any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
• No CISG — the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
• Force majeure — we are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Entire agreement — these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Vantix regarding the Site.
• Severability — if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver — our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment — you may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
• Language & changes — the parties have requested these Terms be drawn up in English (les parties ont exigé que la présente convention soit rédigée en anglais). We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is at vantixlasercanada.com/terms-of-service with the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
