When should I call Vantix service instead of handling it myself?

Short answer

Routine tasks like lens inspection, wire and gas swaps, and keeping the bed and dust collection clear are self-maintain items. Anything touching beam alignment, positioning accuracy, servo faults or persistent HMI alarms is a call-service item.

The full answer

Routine tasks like lens inspection, wire and gas swaps, and keeping the bed and dust collection clear are self-maintain items most shops handle in-house. Anything touching beam alignment, positioning accuracy, servo or motion faults, or persistent HMI alarms is a call-service item, and it is worth calling the 24/7 line before opening the housing on anything under warranty.
